Now that things are starting to pick up again, especially in the lead up to Christmas*only four weeks to go, but who's counting?!* it's so good to see people out and about, and supporting their favourite local businesses. One of the best things about Bendigo, is how the community comes together in times of hardship, and if there’s one thing 2020 has showed us, it’s how resilient we can be. ... We're a bunch of Bendigo based gals here at KH, and so we LOVE getting to work with and support local peeps! Like one of our FAVE cafes @percyandpercy! We've been managing their socials for a couple of months now, and working with the Percy's team has been so great! Not only are they an amazing local business, but their coffee is to die for! 23.01.2022 When we get to be TOTALLY creative with our designs while using our kick-ass strategies to maximise our #khclient’s post’s IMPACT...BOOM! OKAY, so a lot of the time we normally focus on the purpose of a design itself... What it stands for, what it’s goal is and most importantly how it’s going to capture your ideal clients. Right? BUT let’s step outside of the box for a minute and let’s go one step further!... Have you ever wondered about all of the different ways you can showcase your brand, your offerings and your message? You know, to really put your most stylish and well. Your most-gorgeously-designed-foot-forward? (Yes, that was totally over-worded but you get my point!) Now we certainly don’t focus on creating merch ourselves or advertising materials (even though I would kill for a label maker anyday!) BUT what we do focus on is STRATEGY as a whole and I’ll say. We’re super savvy about it! ) You might be one of those businesses who have a BOMB ASS logo custom designed (hopefully by us! ) BUT! What are you going to do with it? Of course it’s your shiny new logo but HOW are you going to maximise it? Well, cue one of our fav social clients! As you can see in these images, after our #khlogo was carefully designed for our powerhouse client & Nutritionist @bridget_hunt, we’ve been able to take her branding to the next level AGAIN. You’ll see that we created quotes for her social media feed using phrases relatable to any health foodie or aspiring health enthusiast AND we took the regular content writing that one step further by creating infographics and recipe cards! Check out these FAB recipe cards that were created as an easy way for Bridget Hunts followers to understand her recipes, create shopping lists and save them on their social media. We can’t tell you how infectious it is here in Benders’, especially in our Hospitality sector. Did you hear about Bendigo’s biggest takeaway last weekend? An all weekend fundraiser organised by @bendigofoodshare aimed to create a morale-boosting event that supports our local hospitality businesses a...ll whilst raising funds for their charity that distributes food to local community groups to be dispersed to those struggling financially to put food on the table. All we had to do was order takeaway from registered hospo businesses and enjoy a delicious meal that tasted even better knowing it contributed to an AMAZING CAUSE! 22.01.2022 Sometimes inspiration is hard to find. Like the ever elusive lottery ticket win, there are times when inspiration seems far out of our grasp. How often have you stared at an empty screen? Struggled to find a witty response to a comment? Designed ten things and hated them all? I think we can all relate to that creative slump! When the creative block hits, I often find that taking a step away from the task at hand, and having a cup of tea *or maybe five* is a good way to... get my head back in the game. 13.01.2022 Not all client feedback is going to be positive. I’m sure we’ve all had those clients or projects that have been more difficult than others. There will always be times when things don’t flow as smoothly as you would like, and often that comes with a big old bunch of nerves. It’s just one of those inevitable things that come with being in business. The thing is, when you get feedback that isn’t all positive, it doesn’t HAVE to be negative. We actually like to see it as an o...pportunity! You see, we’re thinkers and problem solvers, so we like getting down to the nitty-gritty and finding out the best way to handle those tough situations. More often than not, there will be a good lesson on the flip side of a complication. When things go wrong in a work setting, it just means you get an opportunity to show off your problem-solving skills, and find a solution! And when you nail that, it feels really good! The KH Team x

There have been some really exciting things happening over the last six months, and we are so looking forward to what the future of KH will bring. 07.01.2022 Anyone from Bender's recognise these baked, drool-worthy treats?! Yep, we have a new #khclient and we couldn't be more excited about it. Why? Because not only are we supporting local and working with one of our fav bakery's, we are working with an incredible team that LOVE all things food (just like us at KH!) I'm not even kidding, I spent 20 minutes on the phone with the legend that is Adam from George's Bakehouse Kennington while at the sup...ermarket the other day, and he walked me through slow-cooking crispy pork belly. I'm talkin' from the stock recipe, to the best way prepare the meat overnight, to salting and perfecting the crackling - he didn't hold back and that just makes us SO. DAMN. EXCITED. to dive in and nail his website. When you get to work with people who are so aligned with you, your mission and your values, it's an amazing feeling!
