02.01.2022 Couldn’t be prouder of these two champions! Their resilience and spirit grows each time we see them at one of our fundraisers, injury recovery camps or they join us on a video hangout - as was the case for most of last year, damn that ! At KIDS we pride ourselves on helping to build strong lives and Fletch and Spence are living proof of just that. It’s why we do what we do! From such trauma they are ‘getting on with life’ - in no small part due to the love and support of th...eir mum, stepdad and family, plus the North-West community that are cheering them along every step of the way! Great and story by The Advocate newspaper

02.01.2022 #flashbackfriday... Tassie here we come! A throwback to 2017 Camp TANGO held at beautiful White Beach in Tasmania. Camp TANGO (Together Achieving New Goals and Opportunities) is an Injury and Trauma Recovery camp that supports children, adolescents and young adults who have experienced severe burns, life-changing injury and trauma. While it's been a couple of years since KIDS visited the Apple Isle and thanks to Aurora Energy and their 'staying connected' Community Grants p...rogram, we'll be back in 2021 supporting young survivors living in Tasmania. Aurora Energy Community Grants focus on supporting not for profit and community organisations to stay connected with their communities during Covid. 2020 has been quite the year for us here at KIDS. COVID-19 has directly impacted us with camps and events all being postponed in line with COVID restrictions. This grant means we’re heading back to Tassie in 2021 and keeping our Tassie community connected during this pandemic. Thanks Aurora Energy
