23.01.2022 PYJAMA WEEK 2020! It was great to see our children & staff get involved in pyjama week last week by coming to kindy dressed in their cosy pjs!

23.01.2022 This September some Educators at The Kinder Garden Menai are participating in the event STEPTEMBER to support this great cause. During the month of September, our aim is to reach 10,000 steps each day. The children will also be joining through physical activity, dancing and trips down to Menai Park. Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood. One in two people with cerebral palsy are in chronic pain due to the tightening of their muscles. 22.01.2022 Recently the Gumnuts grew some vegetables in little pot plants. They loved the idea of eating the foods that they grew themselves, so as their interest in gardening grew, so did our vegetable garden! We now have two big veggie patches in our outdoor area!

19.01.2022 The last few weeks the children at TKG have been learning about personal hygiene, in particular hand washing. The children have been practicing proper hand washing procedures as well as participating in hands on activities! At this stage we are business as usual!

17.01.2022 A L L A B O A R D This week the Seedlings went to FIJI! The Seedling Room set off on their adventure as Miss Shannon was meant to be heading to Fiji this week! They all boarded the plane with their passports, took their seats and put their leis on ready for take off! They then watched a youtube video of a plane taking off and flying, heading towards Fiji! When they landed, the children were lucky enough to be greeted by two Fijian dancers. The seedlings joined in and all did a hula dance together! They even got to enjoy some yummy coconut water

17.01.2022 Last week we were lucky enough to have Menai Music come to our centre and perform for all the children and expose them to the LOVE of MUSIC!! The children participated in singing, dancing and had turns on the African drum All of the children were engaged, and the music experience was fun and educational at the same time

13.01.2022 GUMNUT GRADUATION 2019!! What an amazing & emotional night it was seeing the children up on the stage in their cap and gown to celebrate the end of their journey at TKG. We wish them nothing but the very best in their new adventure of going to big school!

08.01.2022 The children at TKG were very lucky to have a special visitor today... THE EASTER BUNNY It was so nice to see the big smiles on the childrens faces once they saw the Easter bunny and the yummy chocolates the bunny had for all of us!

07.01.2022 Clean Up Australia Day Today our Preschool Room celebrated Clean Up Australia Day by taking a walk to Menai Conservation Park. The children wore gloves and used our recycled grocery bags to pick up rubbish. This day reminded the children about the importance of keeping our community clean!
