22.01.2022 RE-OPEN ON THURSDAY - 3RD DECEMBER 2020 Thank you for your patience everyone while we tweak & settle into a whole new experience at The Kindness Kitchen. We've encountered a few little minor hurdles & hopefully will be back on track by Thursday this week - flying open the doors for your morning coffee & brekkie. ... While the air con is still not operational - it would appear from the weather forecast for the next week after Thursday - will stay below 30 happy days x We've chosen to stay closed last week & few days this week to ensure we purchase & supply you with the most fresh ingredients we can find (rather than open/close/open/close). CAN YOU BELIEVE WE ARE IN DECEMBER!!! THE YEAR IS NEARLY OVER - NOW that is going to be one big happy NEW YEAR'S EVE XO

22.01.2022 OK Rupanyup - let's do this! Put a little sparkle back into our children & grown up's lives this Christmas. After a chat with Deb Commercial Hotel Rupanyup it would appear we have a Christmas lights challenge up for grabs. Couldn't think of a nicer way to brighten up Christmas for so many people who have had it tough this year, than to turn on the lights in Rupanyup, enjoy a little fun & bring in tourism, visitors & a whole lot of Christmas spirit for everyone to enjoy. ... Since there has always been a healthy rivalry in the Dunmunkle shire, maybe Minyip & Murtoa might like to get in on the fun??? (Minyip/Murtoa & District Buy , Swap & Sell Minyip/Murtoa & District Buy , Swap & Sell ) Although pretty sure Rup has this covered! If you have unused lights, would like to donate to a family or anyone who may have had a year, just a little too tough to purchase Christmas decorations, yet would love to join in, please contact or drop off at The Kindness Kitchen, 19 Cromie Street, Rupanyup. 21.01.2022 I want to say a very big heartfelt thank you for the kindness & generosity of Sarah Rowe. We are so over the moon with the response we’ve received for opening a 100% plant based cafe in the Wimmera. The air con is a major hurdle & among many we thought we could jump them all, like most sole traders this year, we’ve been completely ineligible for any COVID support yet still managed to open!!!! Yeah to us ... For everyone getting behind us, we are grateful for your love, support & kindness x

18.01.2022 STAY COOL EVERYONE - WE ARE STAYING CLOSED (until a change in temp or air conditioning is resolved). Due to the high temps today & tomorrow, short change Monday before increasing again - we will have to stay closed until we can either repair the air conditioner or organise a new system. Without the cooling, this becomes a work health & safety issue for staff & customers. ... Due to delays in opening (from COVID restrictions) we should have been open over 6 months ago & could have potentially had this resolved. CATERING - please stay in touch / catering can be provided outside of normal hours to meet our current bookings. I appreciate the information everyone is providing, fans will not suffice. Should there be any change we will keep you updated.

Yep seems us Southern Hemisphere people are going to have to help Santa out, with mail & anything that goes in or out of Australia, has now slowed down. Being a kindness focussed cafe & team, we decided to help Santa out, have been recruited & now adding Elf work to our list of amazing talents!!... We will be receiving all letters from Santa & with the help of our fabulous post service ensuring replies are out in time. 08.01.2022 Not a good sign for today when the coconut oil is melted at 0500!! We will be open & monitoring the temperature, if it exceeds health & safety recommendations for inside we will close, hopefully we can sort the air con sometime in the next week before the real dimmer begins x
