17.01.2022 Excited to start the sketch up course next week @thelittledesigncorner , thanks for the cute little package!

17.01.2022 ENSUITE we had this done at the same time as the other bathroom, though less work to do here. We had a nasty corner bath in here under the shower BUT it was the only bath in our home, so we ripped it out and squeezed one in the kids bathroom! Problem solved! Luckily we had the existing floor tiles under the house, so could make good the floor. The wall tiles were another story however, they are a very odd size and could not be sourced so had to cut down bigger tiles and fudge them a bit. As this is a temporary fix, we will likely redo this bathroom in about 5 years I am happy to live with the slightly different size and colour to come in under budget.

10.01.2022 Another week done!!! Thanks so much @interiorsaddict and @missamaraloves for a fabulous challenge!!

07.01.2022 BATHROOM. it is finally finished!!! It took probably 6 weeks in total from demolishing the old bathroom, this bathroom was leaking into our dining room down stairs so had to be pulled out. I have just finished cleaning and thought I better take some photos before my kids come home and mess it up again! This one was done on what I would call a pretty tight budget, let me know if you are interested in where things came from or how much it cost, happy to share!! I have to say ...I am pretty pleased with the outcome! Keeping in mind this is a kids bathroom I wanted it to be a little bit fun so chose these gorgeous encaustic tiles, they are very softly textured and so lovely underfoot. The pattern and colouring make them perfect for disguising hair fall and dirty marks between cleans, a must with two girls in here. I also think this will still suit them when they are older, not too girly or babyish, tiles are incredibly expensive to replace. I love the matte black hardware, such great definition, relatively easy and inexpensive to change as styles move on, the vanity is super useful, very deep drawer and love the timber finish and ceramic top! The pendant is cute for now and as they get older I can replace with a glass one, I don’t trust them not to break it at this point! Will post the before video I took a while back with the hideous multi coloured tile and vanity on my stories !!! Have you recently done a bathroom reno , how incredible is the mess?! Or thinking of doing one? Good luck!! Let me know if you need some help! See more

03.01.2022 WARMTH this rug is the most beautiful blend of wool and silk, so soft so cosy and perfect for our little cosy study/kids tv room. I love the mix of fabrics in this little collection of cushions and throws, linen, velvet and leather with the cotton moss stitch throw. Happy Sunday everyone! #7vignettes @interiorsaddict @missamaraloves
