15.01.2022 Who else is snuggling up in this stormy weather?

14.01.2022 Flashback Friday brought to you by the gorgeous baby Demetrius from our Shakespeare Litter Who else loves a black kitten?

11.01.2022 Remember our tiny boy Einstein who was part of the Scientist Litter? Well he isn't so tiny anymore! He's grown into the most handsome cat and we couldn't be prouder

10.01.2022 Look at those love eyes Now that kitten season has slowed down, and due to such high adoption rates during Covid-19, we are officially empty nesters! It's been a whirlwind kitten season this year, and we are looking forward to our short break before kitten season starts back up in a couple months (not that it really stops at all!). During these quieter months we are focusing on some much needed self care, so that we can continue to save more lives! It's so important for no...t only people in animal rescue, but anyone in a carer role, to look after themselves physically, mentally and emotionally. We have absolutely loved caring for all our kittens this year, but in particular our special needs babies (all of which found amazing homes!). We are also hoping to start up our workshops towards the end of the year, so stay tuned! If there's any topics you are particularly interested in, feel free to comment below your suggestions!

06.01.2022 Happy Adoption Day to our two remaining babies, Nova & Stella This brother-sister duo joined the TKNA family at only hours old and received round the clock care from their amazing foster carer. They have grown into the most gorgeous kittens, and have now been welcomed into their forever family. It's been a strange couple of months as we navigate through a global pandemic, and we have been so grateful for all the lovely families enquiring to adopt, however we urge people to... think about the 15-18 year commitment of adopting a kitten during Covid-19. Self isolating has left many of us feeling more lonely than ever, and for many people working from home, this seems like the perfect time to welcome a new furry family member, but please consider whether this new addition will still suit your home and lifestyle when things start going back to normal. At this time, we do not have any kittens available for adoption, however we have a list of local rescues on our website who we encourage you to contact if you are ready to adopt (www.thekittennursery.org.au).
