18.01.2022 OKAY here’s an update...... Last night was huge for my little pub with a regular group that camp every year, they really helped move stock lol & today I am in Tallangatta to get some more food BUT in saying that I am trying to get rid of stock that I have, so the menu is limited. SO THIS WEEKED IS THE LAST ONE, CLOSING AT 6 pm SUNDAY. Short notice but what the hell, rip that bandaid off fast. 14.01.2022 Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas. The pub will reopen today, Friday, Saturday & Sunday(close @6pmsundays) It will then be closed for the week & maybe reopen for a short period from the 9th, not sure yet, I do have stock to get rid of. The rumours are true, I am closing the doors for good.The reason being I have had enough & it’s time for a life change. I am not sure of an exact date as yet but it will not be far away.... I am squashing any rumours of me going broke or bankrupt, not true. The pub has been a good income for me. I have been wanting to sell for a while with no luck & I am not prepared to stay any longer. The pub has a permanent tenant who will continue to rent, & caretaker for me. I will keep it on the market to be sold as a pub for the next 6 months then after that if it is not sold it will be gutted of all equipment & sold as a residence, which will be a shame to see that happen. So please don’t offer me any advice on what I should be doing because I’ve heard it all before, I am just simply burnt out & want to move on. Sorry but it is what it is....the decision had not been an easy one.

09.01.2022 Well I hope everyone is okay with the closure but as I said I just can’t do it anymore. The hotel is still for sale as a pub, at the moment. This will change after 6 months & it will go as a private residence. So please let everyone know it’s for sale & let’s hope someone takes it on as a pub, will be a great shame if it doesn’t reopen. The property is a 3 bedroom house plus 2 extra rooms which are used as rentals, on 3+ acres with a permanent creek running through it. It i...s currently being rented out as a residence. Add to that a stable income which will only improve once the Shelly Walwa road reopens. If you don’t want the business side of it then purchase as a home minus cost of business & live a relaxed lifestyle of hunting, fishing horse riding etc. PLEASE SHARE THE SHIT OUT OF THIS POST Message if needed.
