18.01.2022 KOS Magazine recently spoke to our co-founder, Stefan Schutt, about all things The Lab Network and why we are so passionate about providing opportunities to adolescents with autism. Beyond running tech clubs that allow for social integration, we are proud to offer a safe space that empowers young people, who are often socially isolated in mainstream environments, to explore their talents and skills. You can read more about what inspired us to create The Lab, how technology enables our participants to learn and have fun, and some of our future plans. https://www.kosmagazine.com.au/stories/the-lab-network

04.01.2022 Feel good Friday - check out this review from a parent at our Perth Online Lab! It's wonderful to see so many young people having fun, learning lots and making friends at our Labs. "Wow!! - my son was SO happy about the class he did yesterday. He said the kids were nice and he was totally engaged and interested in what they were doing. He talked about it afterwards (which is rare!). It was a beautiful glimpse of the happy boy I knew before the world got too hard for him."

01.01.2022 Did you know that The Lab was founded 10 years ago? While 2020 has been a challenging year, we're proud to have launched a number of Online Labs to keep young people on the spectrum connected, explore their interests and make friends. Check out some of our first pictures below! Watch this space as we'll be celebrating some of The Lab's milestones over the past ten years.

01.01.2022 We had a special surprise at the Frankston Lab today with Lab Mentor Curtis bringing in his Oculus Rift. The kids were pushed out of their comfort zones as they swung from tree to tree, smashed crates to collected gems as a fox or climbed mountains. Judging by the smiles engraved into their faces we now know what is on the top of their Christmas lists.

01.01.2022 Awesome picture drawn by Juliet, recreated using photoshop! Cant wait to see what else she can create in the future :)

01.01.2022 The Lab is a growing national network of community technology clubs for 10-16 year-old young people with Aspergers Syndrome and High Functioning Autism who are interested in computers. We have sessions all over Australia, head on over to our webpage to see if there is a Lab near you.
