Koala Kids playgroups - for under 5s and their parents/carers throughout the week. Lakes Kids - on Sunday mornings for kids aged from 2 year olds to the end of primary school. Lakes Crew youth - for high schoolers on Friday nights.

12.01.2022 Christmas is less than a month away, and it's going to be a bit different this year. Geoff recorded this video to share what Christmas & New Years will look like for The Lakes Church. We're looking forward to celebrating Christmas together on Sunday 20th December! We're also looking forward to the three weeks of prayer and preparation after Christmas. This pausing of church services will be crucial for our church community. We'll share more about that as we get closer to New Years.

When Jesus talked about being pure in heart did he mean your heart has to be pure before you can see God, or that seeing God makes your heart pure, or did he mean something else entirely? This message is part of our series Upside Down: redefining the good life.... How can we claim that God is good when life isn’t always good? Where is God when life seems so unjust? Jesus introduced his followers to a way of thinking that challenged their understanding of success. He taught them that God’s kingdom doesn’t operate in the same way that the world’s kingdoms operate. How can we find the blessing, happiness and good fortune that Jesus spoke about? From Jesus and his ‘beatitudes’ we find a better way to understand God and a new way to live.
