I have moved my family to Brisbane from Sydney and I am looking forward to the season. My personal aim for this season is to create as many goals as possible. I am a Proud Indigenous Man and I’m excited about playing alongside my cousin Josh Fearn and being a part of the newly started Indigenous Culture of the club I would like to thank the Club, Committee, Club Staff, Coaching Staff and the team for welcoming me into the friendly culture and taking me on board. I have played at a high level of Football and Futsal my whole life. I have been representing Australia with the National Futsal team (Futsalroos) for 10 years, playing in the NPL1, 2 and 3 Football and Futsal in NSW for the past 10 years. Most recent NSW Football and Futsal activity include: Winning NPL 2 Premiers and Champions trophies in 2010 and 2019. Top scorer of the NPL 2 2019 with 22 goals and player of the final scoring 2 goals. Signing with Mt Druitt Town Rangers for the 2020 season before covid cancelled the season. 12.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT The Lakes FC are pleased to announce Craig Moorhouse as the club’s Technical Director. Craig began his coaching journey in the UK gaining both outfield and goalkeeping qualifications through the FA. He coached within his community club as well as working in the Emerging Talent Centre at English League One club Oxford United. After moving to Australia he joined The Lakes where he has been coaching within our Juniors. ... Craig is currently undertaking his B Licence and is a qualified Community Coach Educator. This role will see Craig establish a pathway for both our female and male players, oversee and deliver coach education for all coaches from Seniors to Mini Roos and work with the committee to set the direction of the club. 10.01.2022 The Lakes FC are pleased to announce that Terry Janman and Steve Harrison have been appointed first team coaches for Brisbane Premier League Terry Left playing in England in 2007 to come to Australia. Played for various clubs over here including Albany Creek, Rocklea and Newmarket before becoming player coach at Newmarket in 2013. ... In 2014 I went to Peninsula Power to be assistant to Warren Moon and Scot McNicol where we won the BPL. In 2015 I coached at Southside Eagles before having a few years off and then starting the Project at NL Mustangs with Steve in 2019. Looking forward to getting stuck in to this great opportunity and working with the team, club and committee. Steve I played non-league football for 16 years, playing over 600 games in England before heading to Oz in 2012 for work. In 2015 I started to coach juniors at NL Mustangs and have continued to work in the junior game ever since. In 2019 Terry and myself took on the Project at NL Mustangs. The 2020 football season will no doubt be remembered for hand sanitizer, QR codes, staggered timings and Covid plans.... but also the year of learning, strengt...h, connectedness, support and belief.
