25.01.2022 Can't believe its been over one month since the Lakes Festival!! Central Coast Council would like to thank @Greater Bank our major sponsor of The Lakes Festival 2019. Thanks to their generous sponsorship we were able to have one of the most successful Lakes Festival yet.... We’d particularly like to thank them for their face painting activation at Light Up The Lake, Splash & Dash and Park Feast, it was a huge hit with the kids! We can’t wait for next year!

24.01.2022 Happy Easter from The Lakes Festival Team! Fun fact to help look after our coast this Easter - clean aluminium foil from Easter eggs can all be recycled in your yellow lid recycling bin - just remember to collect all the foil wrappers together and shape it into a ball before popping them in the recycling bin.

24.01.2022 Budgewoi Festival THIS Saturday 16th November 10am - 4pm. The Budgewoi festival will be an amazing day filled with delicious food stalls, retail stalls, roving entertainment and craft activities. There will also be live entertainment on our stage out on the water! The perfect way to get out and explore our beautiful Coast. Plus, drop by and meet some of our friendly Library team and learn more about our great programs and resources. ... **The Pop-up Creative Precinct is activating a range of activities including:** Tai Chi in the Park with David; Kayak Eco-tours with Nick; Tales from Nature; Interactive theatrical storytelling with Curious Legends; Talk: How can we help? Ways to share responsibility for the care of our environment; Talk: The secret life of Australian Seabirds; Clown for a day: Kinder Circus skills with Roundabout. + MUCH MORE

22.01.2022 The Lakes Festival is finished for another year, and what a year 2019 was! With several new events and event hubs, this has been our biggest yet! Weekend two consisted of SUP Yoga, Park Feast, Bouddi Coastal Run, Budgewoi Festival, Best of the Coast Photography Competition and Clambake. Thanks to all involved in this years event, especially our major sponsor Greater Bank!
