25.01.2022 Hi folks Here's a list of items we desperately need. Shampoo & conditioner. Soap, deodorant, razors, flour, sugar, snacks for school lunches, large tuna, tinned meals, pasta, spreads.... NO NEED FOR - Toilet paper or tissues as we had a large donation recently.

23.01.2022 If you'd like to help an elderly member of the community in need, Woolworth's are arranging $80 packs with set items to be delivered to those shut in who can't get out - simply buy this pack for them and it will be delivered. If you want to buy items that can be tailored to what people might prefer (with allergies, pets, etc.), please consider donating items and bringing them to the Space - or you can buy gift cards which people can use for fresh groceries. Thanks to all the amazing locals who are supporting other locals in the North Lakes, Mango Hill, Griffin, Dakabin, Murrumba Downs and Kallangur neighbourhoods.

20.01.2022 Hi folks. Christmas is often one of the most stressful times of the year and our church would like to help. If you (or someone you know) need support, please join us for food, fun, friendship, presents and celebrating community this Christmas. There's no need to be alone or go without - come celebrate with us. If you can offer support (see our page for details) please let us know as we would love your input to make this a special event.... It takes a community to build a community and locals helping locals is one of the best ways to build a vibrant and healthy community. Fr Dan and the Lakes Church

20.01.2022 Exciting news.... and we need your help

19.01.2022 Hi folks. just an update for our pantry: we'll continue to offer assistance Mon, Wed & Fri we will limit supplies to a couple of bags per family... our range of support extends only to North Lakes, Mango Hill, Griffin, Murrumba Downs, Dakabin and Kallangur we will need people to let us know if you are in need by calling to arrange a visit - we will pack the bags and bring the food out to your vehicle in the Space carpark As more people will be in need, it will be important we continue to receive supplies. These can be brought to the Space (YMCA building corner of Endeavour Blvd and Lakefield Drv) and I'll come to the car park to receive them. We've always operated on "local's helping locals" and COVID 19 won't change that. In fact it makes it all the more important that those who can buy extra do so to help others. If you'd like to offer supplies, please let me know. Please also check out our Music Box page for parents and our church page for other spiritual encouragement. 15.01.2022 So blessed to have this tiny young champion come with his mum to donate some vouchers to our pantry. They used money normally given to extended family to buy Easter eggs, to buy these vouchers instead - wow! Great to have locals giving back to local community support programs like our pantry to help those in need.
