11.01.2022 CASTING CALL: THE MOOGERAH PASSION PLAY 2016 The Moogerah Passion Play is held every Easter at The Lake Theatre, Lake Moogerah approx. an hours drive from Brisbane. The play is not run by any church group, but is made up of people who just wish to present the biblical story of the life and death of Jesus Christ on stage. This is a family friendly community event, and we are looking for people across the board to play multiple roles. Some of these roles include;... Major Biblical Characters: Major speaking roles Minors/Extra Characters such as Soldiers, Disciples, Children and Women. All shapes, all ages, all levels of ability are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity for people from beginner to advanced acting levels to be apart of a community run Theatre company. If you are looking at getting into acting or looking at getting experience on the stage and being in a project that will strengthen your abilities that is at the same time family friendly, you don't need to be involved in a church or group, you just need a can do attitude and a passion for the stage. If you would like to be involved in a retelling of the greatest story ever told, then apply now! Rehearsal begin in January and are to be announced. They will be held in Boonah (outisde of Ipswich/Beaudesert) as well as The Lake Theatre (Moogerah). Performances run the weekend before Easter and the Easter long weekend

09.01.2022 Saturday 19 March is the first performance of The Moogerah Passion Play 2016. This event is free entry, and donations can be made as well as food purchases. The Moogerah Passion Play Association welcomes all members of the community to attend and to enjoy a beautiful afternoon at the Lake Theatre. Look out for the sites new addition which I think many regulars would be excited about!
