03.01.2022 Did you know that Darwin is home to the International Laksa Festival? Neither did we, until about 48 hours ago. A month long celebration of Laksa just began in the northern capital. A generation of South East Asian immigration means the city boasts a vibrant culinary scene, with Laksa being the city’s obsession. All month, the big Laksa restaurants in town will battle it out for the ‘best bowl’ award, while other restaurants compete with laksa-themed dishes like Laksa past...a and Laksa ice cream. Yeah we couldn’t resist, bring on a week of sweat-face and stained shirts. It would be rude not to. #darwinlaksafest #workchristmasparty
