22.01.2022 Love this image - thanks to @canadianautism #autismspectrum #differentnotless

22.01.2022 The NDIS has finally formally acknowledged #ABA and #BCBA’s! A massive debt of gratitude to all those who helped give our field this recognition. There is more than half a century of research to show that ABA is an evidence based practice and many brilliant minds ensuring we are always moving forward in this field to provide effective, functional, empowering services to help our clients and families move towards independence and meet their goals. This is a brilliant step towards a more positive impact for many families in Australia seeking effective services for autism.

19.01.2022 Here’s one to add to your list and watch In "Love on the Spectrum" one of several new reality programs that came to Netflix this month filmmakers highlight the ways in which finding love for young adults with autism can be a complicated, intimidating, and in some cases, incredibly fulfilling experience.

15.01.2022 We’ve missed you all and can’t wait to see you face to face again when we resume regular services next week! We’ve followed NSW Health guidelines to create a safety plan and register as a COVID safe business. All our clients will receive an email with our safety plan in the coming days which details our plan to reopen while keeping our community safe. In short: we will be limiting the number of people in our clinic, requiring hand washing/sanitising on entry, engaging in ...physical distancing and sanitising toys/stimuli/high touch surfaces before and after each clinic. Masks are encouraged but not enforced. Thank you for working with us through these last 4 months of Telehealth, we couldn’t have done it without your support and cooperation. Stay safe, wash your hands and we’ll see you soon!

03.01.2022 Monash University partnered with Geoff Potter and the The Centre for Positive Behaviour Support to provide an award for excellence in Applied Behaviour Analysis. This annual award recognises the outstanding achievements of two recent graduates of Monash Education’s Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis course. This prize has been kindly donated by Dr Geoff Potter, Clinical Director at the Centre for Positive Behaviour Support and a 2018 graduate of Monash's Master of Education... in Applied Behaviour Analysis course. 2020 award winners are Karen Wong and Tyrone Smoger! Congratulations Karen, 25+ years in the field and you’re still leading by example to show us all that we are never done with learning and striving to be better clinicians and humans. #learn #grow #succeed #growthmindset #evidencebasedpractice #ABA #BCBA
