25.01.2022 A study in the USA has shown that nearly 60% of cyber bullying victims where also victims of school bullying, and that while girls were cyber bullied at a slightly higher rate than boys, the big difference was among non-heterosexually identified youth, where 33% were cyber bullied versus 15% of heterosexually identified youth. Research in five universities in Lebanon conducted by the organisation Helem found that learners had experienced homophobic bullying by fellow learners... and staff, including harassment, blackmail and deprivation of academic rights.
