23.01.2022 School Readiness Program Our School Readiness Program focuses on many important skills that children need to begin to develop so that they can start school on the best foundations! We work on developing fine motor skills, cutting skills, social and emotional skills as well as early literacy and numeracy concepts - all through a hands on, play based, engaging program! Our school readiness sessions are 1.5 hours long, run by qualified and experienced primary teachers, and are held within the school environment so that children can experience big school before they formally start! 13.01.2022 Wishing all of our Learning Hive families a very merry Christmas and a wonderful start to 2021! 2021 is sure to be a busy one at The Learning Hive! Classes will resume the week beginning the 8th February, and we will continue taking enrolments throughout January (classes are filling fast - don’t miss out!)

12.01.2022 The Hive Art Time Join us for one-hour sessions of literacy based arts and crafts! We will engage in songs, rhymes and stories, and each week we will complete an art/ craft activity with specific fine motor skill focus! These sessions will run on Mondays and Tuesdays in 2021, located in Whittlesea. All sessions run by fully qualified and experienced primary school teachers and are aimed at children from 2.5 - 5 years of age. Places are strictly limited, so contact us at [email protected]

10.01.2022 2021 classes starting soon!! Not long to go now! All of our classes start the week beginning 8th February. If you have a child starting school in 2022, our School Readiness Program will give them a great head start with their learning. If you have younger children, bring them along to our Art Time classes to explore literature through art and craft! All classes are hands on and develop multiple skills and concepts. 06.01.2022 Fine Motor Skills Fine motor skill development is so important in the early years! Both our school readiness and art time programs focus on fine motor skills - tracing, threading, cutting, tearing, folding, play dough!!!
