18.01.2022 This past Tuesday, The Leisure Company was very fortunate to receive a cheque from Hotels have Hearts The third Wagga & District ‘Hotels have Hearts’ fundraising dinner was held on 22 November, 2019. This initiative was a collaboration between Wagga Hotels with the purpose of raising funds for local charities. The dinner provided guests with an evening of fine cuisine, quality beverages and outstanding auction items all for a good cause. We would like to say a massive THAN...K YOU to Belinda King from Romano's Hotel, The Union Club Hotel - Wagga Wagga, The Victoria Hotel, and the William Farrer Hotel. 05.01.2022 S A M Tuesday’s are fast becoming our favourite day of the week because of this guy! He is full of energy, high fives and cheek... lots and lots of cheek! S...am has been a regular customer at the factory and started out asking if he could help out whilst visiting. He loved it that much that the next visit he wanted to do more.... then he found the fish pond and he became chief fish feeder. He enjoyed it that much that the team at Kurrajong put Sam on a one day a week work experience trial! That went VERY well! Sam was appointed Factory Greeter and has shone in the position! Although he refuses to greet anyone without first sitting down with his bud Darby for a cuppa and scone. Last week Neil got a certificate of appreciation from Kurrajong for how things have progressed. We truly believe we should be the ones handing out the thanks for allowing such a great guy to visit each Tuesday in his work shirt ready to make Neil and the team laugh till we cry. Anyway, see you tomorrow Sam! We can’t wait #yeeeaaaaahhhhhbbbooooiiiii www.juneelicoriceandchocolate.com
