15.01.2022 Last week, our Elliott MacLeod initiated a nation-wide Thelemite Microsoft ‘Teams’ Meeting as a get together. With our teams across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne all attending via videoconference, we discussed our experiences in the work-from-home world, some key themes that we wanted to share include: The Home Office: Make sure you are well setup, comfortable and safe... Attire: We are still at work so need to be dressed for business. Although I wasn’t too sure about Elliot’s blue business shirt with Hawaiian board shorts! Exercise: It is important to still get outside, go for a walk to get some fresh air and sunlight Diet: The pantry is easy to raid, so stock it with nutritious snacks and food Stay Connected: It is now more important than ever to keep connected with our clients, colleagues and family; so use Teams, Zoom, Skype and stay in regular communication with each other #shapingfutureoutcomes

11.01.2022 Thelemites around the country have adapted exceptionally well to our new world. As important as adapting to ensure continuity of service for our clients; we have sought to continue our strong team bond and ensure the health and wellbeing of our people. We may not be able to enjoy our Thelementals (our Friday get togethers), however our team have embarked on a journey in Virtual Wine Appreciation via video conference. ... A course, led by Master Sommelier Jane Lopes takes Thelemites on a global journey and education in wine. American-born Jane is the Wine Director at Attica, Australia's most celebrated restaurant and is one of only 34 women in the world that have passed the qualification to become a Master Sommelier. We have undertaken an introduction to wine and in week 2 we learnt all about white wine, Week 3 was All about Reds’, and on Friday Jane will took us on an experience in grape varieties. Staff partners and family have also been attending. Through this period we continue to be connected, enjoy each other’s company and learn and laugh along the way.
