We have two full-time positions available... A Senior Hairdresser/Manager & a Diploma qualified Beauty Therapist. Our Senior Hairdresser must be qualified, and have a Cert 3 or 4 in Hairdressing, with trade industry experience of min 5yrs. A high standard of technical skills with a keen eye for detail. T...he need for the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation is paramount. Is friendly and happy. Is competent in all aspects of Hairdressing, and is willing to continue to up skill. Can work independently or as a team player. The position of Manager at the Leopard Lounge Hair & Beauty Bar is required to oversee the daily salon operations. Ensuring that customers are satisfied, managing employees schedules and performance, as well as working to make sure the salon is profitable. They will be responsible for Employee Motivation, Team leadership and development, Hiring and recruiting, Financial administration, sales coaching, Inventory control, Have sound judgement, calm under pressure and be service-minded. The successful candidate will be able to balance administrative duties with working on the floor when required. The salon has up to date software programs in place for Salon Appointments, stock control, service reports and payroll. This position comes with accomodation for the right candidate. Beauty Therapist position must be diploma trained with a minimum of 5yrs industry experience. Must be professional. Have a high standard of technical skills with a keen eye for detail. The need for the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation is paramount. Is friendly and happy. Is competent in all aspects of Beauty, and is willing to continue to up skill. Can work independently or as a team player. Must be competent in all aspects of trade and is willing to train an apprentice. We are a Hairdressing/Beauty Salon within the Resort at the Walkabout Lodge. We cater for our local community members as well as tourists who travel to East Arnhem Land to explore one of the most beautiful, pristine, friendly places in Australia. We are situated in Nhulunbuy (township) on the Gove Peninsula, East Arnhem Land , NT. The position comes with subsidised accomodation for singles or family. Above the award wage + Bonuses.
