23.01.2022 I get sent a lot of LED light treatment and product snaps from clients asking my opinion on whether this/that is any good. There are so many gimmicks out there I try to save them the time, heartache and of something not working. Case in point, LED light should be applied to clean skin. Masks, serums and makeup block the light penetrating and you won’t get the best results.... Keep this in mind next time you’re having a treatment. If you think your skin hasn’t been cleansed sufficiently don’t be afraid to speak up

22.01.2022 Because there are gaps between when I see clients and because I look at their skin so closely, I notice improvements immediately. When it’s your skin and you look at it each day, it’s trickier to measure. Here’s a lady (75ish) and a super close after regular treatments (some monthly, some fortnightly). Notice especially the improvement around the chin and bags/fine lines around the eyes. Pretty great

15.01.2022 Breakouts from cosmetics (acne cosmetica) is real. I see it. All. The. Time. This is a great list (thank you to the person who compiled it originally ) of ingredients that may be in your cleanser/moisturiser/sunscreen/makeup and causing you pimples. As a start, look for non-comedogenic products and make sure they’re from a reputable brand. Also, each night be sure to cleanse and rinse well (do a double cleanse with a gentle cleanser if you need to), especially under the chi...n and neck if you have a tendency to break out out there. Don’t flip products around so much that you cause yourself more problems (irritation/redness/worse breakouts!), but make like a detective and have a think whether your acne could be caused or worsened by something you’re putting on your face. Give those ingredients a good check
