23.01.2022 What is God asking you to do? Have you ever considered some of the characters, some of the people from scripture and their story. Read Isaiah 20:1-6 and consider how hard it would be to do what he had to do. Also consider how long he had to do it. 3 years! Today you won’t be ask to do what Isaiah was asked to do, but it may feel just as hard to do it.... If God is asking you to pray, or read, or maybe to let go of the past and forgive someone who really doesn’t deserve forgiveness. Again consider what Isaiah had to do. Put yourself in Isaiah’s shoes (even though he didn’t have any in this part of his life). I love the resolve found at the end of this verse. Even through all Habakkuk was experiencing in verse 19 he CHOSE to follow and praise God through his very hard situation.
