20.01.2022 5 Days of Lockdown Activities Day 2 Another simple set up today that’s perfect for this beautiful weather we’re having here in Perth... water play! ... Grab a large container, tub or bowl (we like to use our IKEA Flisat Table but honestly... any tub will do). Fill the container with water and add lemon or lime slices, some flowers or petals from the garden and even a drop of food colouring. I highly recommend placing the container outside as your floors are likely to get wet with this activity!! Invade your kitchen cupboards for scoops, spoons and small plastic containers and let your kids enjoy scooping the water and exploring the flowers and fruit! My two year old can literally spend ages splashing in water play - she loves it! Make sure you tag us in your pics if you give this a try! Love seeing all your ideas! Stay safe everyone! See more

18.01.2022 5 Days of Lockdown Activities So.... instead of getting ready to start our first day of school today, we woke up to Perth in lockdown. Join us over the next 5 days where we go through some simple activities you can do at home with your kids using things you probably already have around the house or in the pantry! ... First up is my favourite resource... you all know it... playdough! My girls love playdough and it is a staple in our home. Add some magnetic letters and you have yourself some instant stampers! Depending on the age of your child, they could make their name, spell some simple sight words (or CVC words) or simply just play with patterns and colours!
