25.01.2022 40th Birthday Chocolate cake with whipped choc fudge buttercream. Brief was pink, white and rose gold. I also managed to do some abstract painting to create textures with a palette knife I purchased recently. These were my third batch of macarons before I got them the way I wanted them. Why? I mixed in flour instead of icing sugar and not only did I do it once, I did it twice in a row! What a numpty When your childrens soccer coach asks you to make his wifes 40th birthday cake, you make sure you do it well. Andrija, thank you for inspiring and supporting my children. Your effort and dedication to all our soccer kids does not go unnoticed. I hope Amalia enjoyed her surprise and the celebration was fun and memorable.

Frankly I was exhausted and didnt want to take the chance of carting all the cakes out for a group photo and drop one of them by accident (I am known to be clumsy ). ... So happy to get to this stage and excited to start decorating the cakes and get them all pretty.... 2- Ok, please dont mess this up now so you dont have to scrape the buttercream and start all over again (which I have done before, not once but many times ). We are so blessed to have you in our lives #weonlyhaveoneson Ethan requested for a lolly cake so here is my take on it. 18.01.2022 2nd cake from the blank canvases collection- Baby shower cake for Hannah (or affectionately known as Mrs G). Hannah requested a beach theme so this is what I came up with. Finished the look with with an acrylic anchor @perfectlycreated4u We are so grateful to have a great teacher for my son, Ethan this year. Ethan loves his Mrs G and miss her so much when she left for her maternity leave. I didnt know how much he actually did miss her until he teared up when it was Mr G who... turned up to collect the cake (sorry Rick!, I was happy to see you though ). 06.01.2022 I am thrilled to announce that when you order a cake from TLCM, you now can choose to add a feature custom designed cookie from @petitesweetstudio . Pip and I will work together to incorporate a great cookie into my cake design just like this one! Katies daughter loves her bunny and she wanted to somehow feature it with balloons. I am absolutely pleased with how this cake turned out. The balloons are all edible chocolates and Pip designed the bunny cookie to match with... the cake. I am excited to design two more cakes featuring Pips cookies very soon. Stay tuned Having a small business from home means working a lot on your own. Dont get me wrong, I love being my own boss, I mean I am the employee of the month every single month However I also believe in working in a team where we can complement each others strengths. I love baking cakes and Pip from @petitesweetstudio is a pastry chef who bakes exclusive handmade custom cookies...so it is a perfect match! Pip and I met online through the @singlet.societe GA program (great program by the way). We finally met face to face last week and I can confirm Pip is lovely and so talented. 05.01.2022 When I officially opened my small cake business to the public I asked the beautiful Shar @_shartruese to make me a sign for my front entrance to welcome my customers and to assure them they have come to the right house to collect a cake. Imagine turning up at my neighbour's house asking for a cake instead! Mind you that has happened before I remembered it was tricky with all those pesky little dots but Shar did a good job with it I still love looking at iteveryday when... I enter my home. Fast forward to today, it is still hanging proudly at my front door albeit she did take a few hit from the weather when I stupidly forgot to pin it down (my handy father in law fix it!). I still love it but I am seriously thinking of changing things up in the new year. What do you think? @shoshcreative

04.01.2022 Dessert table all set up for a wedding last night. I fell in love with the lovely venue @brookleighweddings and it was such a wonderful set up for an intimate wedding. I had the pleasure of meeting Lee @flowers_on_a_budget_ and Liana @cateryoukitchen while we were all setting up for the wedding reception. I stayed way longer than intended! Had to inform the bride that I wasn’t stalking her, I just had to wait for my help ! Story details soon. Can you guess what happened?

Well, I basically drove off without the car keys I left it sitting on the kitchen bench! @brookleighweddings i...s about 50 mins away and when I realised the car keys were nowhere to be found, I rang hubby and he came to the rescue along with our two kiddos bless him, he was so patient with me. While I had an hour to spare I (with mum as she came along to help and keep me company) ended up watching @cateryoukitchen prepare delicious food for the wedding guest. We seriously had food envy!
