She’s a long awaited addition (we wanted her to start after the studio renovation, yet we had to get jars, and then life just happened y’know?!) and surprisingly during covid of all times, we’ve had the demand, requirement and need to make a change. Her starting with us means no more waiting at the stove stirring the wax blocks and checking temperatu...res - NO! This means refined processes, larger batch pours, quicker and a stabilised even heating temperatures. Yasss. So we've made jumping into the commitment of meeting someone new, a hell of a lot easier. Think of it as speed dating. You don't want to spend too much time if they aren't your people - samples are like that too. We're all busy, we need to keep it snappy. Samples (whilst they do burn quicker than a large candle,... we never skimp on quality, it just isn't who we are ok?!) 10 hours of burn time BUT the real kicker is that you are going to get VALUE out of every one of those 10 hours. Perfect to give you an idea of what the heat throw is on the candle (fragrances CAN smell different when burning as to when they’re not) - speed dating remember, ask questions, have a drink, see if you are compatible. If you aren't? that's ok, no loss but nice to meet you. Compatible? come back, buy it in a larger size, or a wood wick, hey what about a diffuser? not your jam? melts people, plenty of melt available. 8pm on the website wine in hand and bra free is totally acceptable. 17.01.2022 MINIS - I love gifting (my language of love is gifting, and mostly I gift candles - go figure ha! what is your language of love?! have you done the test?) and I love nothing more than really thoughtful gifting - if we're talking and you tell me about something you love or you've seen that you have your eye on for example, I'll keep that in mind when it comes the time for a birthday or event. I can't help it. A thoughtful gift given or received is not lost on me. Ever. ... When gifting candles it can be difficult difficult lemon difficult to choose a scent for someone, not knowing if its going to hit the mark or not - let me tell you, rule of thumb for fragrances if you don't know the person well is citrus. Anything citrus. There was a survey done (trust me, I've researched this stuff, shit you not) that had found citrus based fragrances are the least offensive AND most widely accepted fragrance available. Easy. Done. Tick. Next job on the list. The next decision to make - which size candle do I buy? We have a range of different options available, its my job basically to offer you as much as possible, but for first time candle users or those new to the brand, I suggest minis (or travel tins, or even tea light packs). It's dipping your toes into new fragrances, trying something new without the concern of huge commitment and 50 hours extra burning of this fragrance.
