16.01.2022 Monday library trip. This morning library organised a moon festival themed story and craft time. We listened to a lively story about moon festival with moon cakes and lanterns, then watched a video of the legend of moon festival. That was about the moon goddess Chang-E. Then we sang a lantern song. At the end, we used some special moon cake moles to make 'moon cakes'. We also made some lanterns to bring home! What a great morning!

14.01.2022 Birthday celebration. The children had a mini party for their day care friend. Everyone sang a birthday song and shouted hip hip hooray for him, and gave him some warms hugs. Even the toddlers! Then they enjoyed a healthy fruit snack together. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MD! Hope you have enjoyed this moment with your friends! :)

08.01.2022 This school holiday we had a busy but exciting time with the schoolies. We explored woodlands park, visited strawberry farm, did a few cooking activities (ginger bread cookies, handmade noodles, and some jam drops), and started working on our Halloween project.

05.01.2022 15.9.2016 - Moon festival celebration. The children shared some moon cake, helped to make some lanterns to bring home or decorate the environment. They experienced how to use a special mould to make beautiful patterns on moon cakes. They watched some shows about the moon festival. They loved the moon goddess Chang-E a lot and danced with scarfs just like her. And the older kids decided to do some colouring page of the moon goddess then they asked me to tie their work together with their lanterns. What a lovely idea! We also shared our lanterns and moon cakes with our friends at the play group! Happy moon festival to everyone!

01.01.2022 We've been doing activities about frogs (link to the endangered spieces). Pretending play of frog pond, frog game(frog catching balls), watch video about frog life cycle, craft of frog life cycle, try to sing the song of five speckled frogs!
