13.01.2022 BABY PLAY | A go to for kids starting to learn pretend play. Children can show interest is early pretend play as soon as 12 months of age. Some tips: start with real life things they see regularly such as feeding the baby, giving the baby a bottle and putting the baby to bed show your little one how to do one action at a time- too many at once can be overwhelming pair actions with sounds and animated facial expressions to make it fun give lots of praise and encouragement when they perform (or even tried) the actions you’ve shown them most of all enjoy yourself and embrace the silliness. If your child sees you having fun they will also have fun and learn quicker!
