23.01.2022 The growth this past week has been phenomenal since adding the new fish to the system. With around 150 koi ranging from 10cm up to over 60cm and around 500 plants in the system everything is growing great.

11.01.2022 I think I might have enough fish now. 100 little ones in the first tank and around 40 in the second. The video was shot from the same spot in each tank so you can see the size difference between the fish. The first tank has fish around 10cm, the second ranges from 15cm up to around 60cm+.

08.01.2022 Here’s exactly how I designed my DIY Bio Filter for our aquaponics system. This is a small biological filter to help convert ammonia from the fish tanks into nitrates before our Deep Water Culture bed. Nitrates is the fertiliser that plants use and gives incredible growth.

02.01.2022 I’ve had a lot of people ask me how I aerate my fish tanks without an air pump and air stones. Here’s how. I have 6 of these jets forcing water and air around 50cm deep into each tank. They’re also at an angle so that the water is continuously circulating.
