24.01.2022 We have sunsets, we have harps, we have spoken word and we have oh so much love and intimacy! What more could you want? Cafe Philosophique De L’Amour, kicking off tonight at 7pm at The Espy. Tix available on the door!

19.01.2022 Friends! Tomorrow night we begin our month-long-Tuesday-night residency at The Espy, delving into the intricacies of relationships through spoken word, music and conversation with Cafe Philosophique De L'Amour. We will be kicking off with an examination of INTIMACY - what is it? Where does it go? Can we ever find it again? So many questions! And we want to hear yours! Doors open at 7pm with spoken word performances from Fleassy Malay, Abdul Hammoud, Melissa Pearson and LAY the Mystic and music from harpist and singer Liana Perillo. We then bring out the snacks and open the conversation up to everyone! I'll be pretty spesh! Get your tickets here: https://www.moshtix.com.au/v2/cafe-philosophique

17.01.2022 Night two of Cafe Philosophique De L'Amour will see Farah Beaini, Declan Furber Gillick, Randall Stephens and Madison Griffiths take to the stage to share words and poems around "Distance and Loneliness". Each night, following on from the performances we share food and stories about our own experiences and ideas around the themes. We believe creating conversation around these universal themes is vital to envisioning and building the world we want to live in! Tuesdays in October at The Espy, get your tickets here: https://www.moshtix.com.au/v2/cafe-philosophique

12.01.2022 Another beautiful evening of Cafe Philosophique De L’Amour last night, discussing loneliness and distance with the warmth of our community all around us we’ll be here every Tuesday in October! Next week we’ll be delving into Relationships with Ourselves

11.01.2022 The incredible talent that is Amadou Suso be performing on night two of Cafe Philosophique De L'Amour (Oct 8) as we look at distance and loneliness. Sometimes we can be surrounded by loved ones and still feel a deep sense of loneliness or distance. Where do these feelings stem from and how may we overcome them? Cafe Philosophique De L'Amour - Tuesdays in October at The Espy

09.01.2022 Tuesday Oct 15 - Night Three of Cafe Philosophique De L'Amour - will see poets Ebony MonCrief, Manisha Anjali, Sean M Whelan and Andy Jackson take to the stage to examine where all relationships should stem from - ourselves. This, however, is often easier said then done! So how do we foster a healthy relationship with ourselves? And what does a healthy relationship with ourself even look like? Cafe Philosophique De L'Amour, Tuesdays in October at The Espy

05.01.2022 This Tuesday Oct 22 Cafe Philosophique De L'Amour will be delving deep into Relationships with our Families! Some of the most stained relationships on earth are within family dynamics, and they often have repercussions and play out in other areas of our lives. Is there a way to heal the unspoken? We'll have spoken word and storytelling from Consciously Kyah, Helen Kassa, Tumi and May Jasper, music from the one and only Parvyn and of course plenty of snacks and chats! Get down to the The Espy at 7pm. Tix available on the door!

05.01.2022 Congratulations to Përolas for the release of their latest video clip! Such an incredibly lush and beautiful song! See Liana Perillo from Perolas performing as part of the open night of Cafe Philosophique De L'Amour. We will be soaking in intimacy, trying to understand what it is, what may be the barriers to finding it and how it can exist within all our relationships, not just the sexual ones!

05.01.2022 What a wonderful night our debut Cafe Philosophique De L’Amour was! Poetry music and conversation delving into intimacy. We spoke about intimacy as being present in a moment, whether that be with a lover, a friend, a place or even a pet! We spoke about the problem of equating intimacy with sex, we spoke of the importance of intimacy with ourselves. Come on down to the The Espy, we are here every Tuesday in October chatting all things relationships John Englezos (thank you!!)

03.01.2022 We have sunsets, we have harps, we have spoken word and oh so much love and intimacy... what more could you want? Doors open at 7pm and tix available on the door!

01.01.2022 This Tuesday Cafe Philosophique De L'Amour will be touching on Relationships with Ourselves, a topic that has come up again and again throughout our conversations over the last few weeks. It seems as if it is where all relationships should stem from, but often easier said than done. How do we foster a healthy relationship with ourselves? What does a healthy relationship with ourself even look like? We'll be going deep with poets Manisha Anjali, Sean M Whelan, Ebony MonCrief and Andy Jackson with music from Matt Wicking (he's good, he's very good!). Kicking off 7pm at The Espy, tix available on the door!
