21.01.2022 Hey, we've just received a Local Heroes award from the Hallett Cove Business Association - it's for outstanding service. We're quite chuffed that it's for service to our local community, but I think our community as a whole deserves the local heroes tag - we've all been doing it a bit tough in different ways but everyone who comes in seems to have a great attitude and sense of fun (maybe even cheekiness) - that old fashioned kind of Aussie spirit - and people are genuinely looking to support our locals. We thank all of our regulars for that support. Thank you also to Bruce, Adam, Sarah G, Jess, Sarah A and Ash for spreading the cheer.

19.01.2022 Cold Brewed Coffee. This not iced coffee as you know it (hot brewed and then iced down). The coffee beans are specially ground, then it is cold water infused for about 18 hours and finally carefully filtered. This process gently draws out all of the complex flavours from the coffee but because of the lack of heat in the process there is no acidity or bitterness. The result? An amazingly rich, smooth and yummy concentrated coffee with a natural sweetness it can be the basis ...of hot or cold drinks straight up or milk based. We are now using this brew as the base of all of our coffee based chilled and iced drinks. During the hot weather call in for one of these chilled drinks.
