13.01.2022 LOCH SPORT FORESHORE REDEVELOPMENT WORKS: Wellington Shire Council are currently undertaking several projects along Loch Sport's foreshore. Residents and visito...rs are reminded to please remain cautious and obey signage around these work sites. Charlies Street Boat Ramp Upgrade: Work includes construction of new boatramp, fixed jetty, floating pontoon, approaches, carpark extension and associated works. Works will commence on Monday 18 September, with the estimated completion date being late December this year. During the works, one ramp will remain open at all times. Picnic Shelter (Lake Street): The current shelter has been demolished, with a new shelter to be constructed. Estimated completion date is late December this year. Playspace Redevelopment: Planning is currently underway to redevelop the existing playspace on the Lake Street foreshore. Council will be seeking community feedback on draft plans in the coming months. The new playspace is expected to be completed by mid-2018. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during these works.
