Recently extensively renovated, the Lodge Hotel incorporates a large family bistro, beer garden, sports bar, 33 gaming machines and a large drive in bottle shop. We are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Manager, who holds a current Responsible Person/Gaming Badge. They must be available to work over a 7 day rotating roster, day and night shifts. Experience in all hotel operations is es...sential. Reporting to the Venue Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring the safe and profitable operation of the entire venue. Key responsibilities of this position include: Assisting the Venue Manager to ensure that all departments within the hotel are running efficiently on a day to day basis. Ensuring shift changes are effected smoothly. All communications are clear and effective Working with the Venue Manager to ensure that the venue has competent, qualified and trained staff whilst maintaining exceptional customer service. Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate: An attention to detail The appropriate gaming and liquor certification. The ability to multi-task and have a hands on approach in a fast-paced environment. At least 2 years experience in a similar role and environment. Excellent communication skills Be a current citizen of Australia.
