19.01.2022 What’s motivating you to get moving??

16.01.2022 Who else feels like this? I do... and I know I'm not alone. We've been running on adrenaline in all departments of life for so long now and as soon as the body and mind feels a slight relief, it falls in a heap.. referred to in this article as the rubber band effect. It's important not to fight it and make sure we take the time to recharge the batteries. It's not self indulgent, it's critical for the optimal operation of 'you'. What does time out and catching some you time... look like... Coffee or lunch with a friend A veg day on the couch with Netflix and something yummy Exercise Spending quiet time in your garden A facial, mani or pedi All of the above? And once rested, reset... this article reminds us to just live in the now, stop waiting for normal to return... "Allow yourself to adjust to a new way of being, rather than waiting until things are the way they were, because if you do, you will be waiting a long time. Live in the moment and find the joy in what you're doing right now instead." "We can't skip ahead straight to 2021. This is life right now, and you can't hold your breath through life."

13.01.2022 And that's a wrap Homeschooling has been a challenge that no one could have predicted or seen coming.. it’s been hard on many levels and for different reasons for everyone.. but we made it.. hats off to you all.. especially those that also continued to work. Pat yourself on the back, celebrate with a and be proud.. and secretly hope and that this never happens again How will you reward yourself... you deserve to mark the achievement... I know I'll be doing someth...ing nice for myself after school drop off on Monday! Share your experience, maybe you loved it... maybe you didn't, how did you get through, what's your level of relief or how you will reward yourself, show us in a GIF below... lets have a giggle together. I enjoyed certain elements of having the kids at home... one being that I could sit (in my pj's) one on one and 'guide' (I use that term lightly... it was more a constant battle of maintaining focus and motivation levels) them through each learning fundamental to ensure they grasped the concept. But I am very happy for my boys to return to school next week... and I'm pretty sure they are happy about it too! "This wasn't hard because you did it wrong... it was hard because it was too much. Working, parenting and teaching are three different jobs that cannot be done at the same time."... Emily W. King. Most of us are not teachers, we did the best we could... and that looked different for everyone too. But we have come out the other side with a whole new understanding that thankfully (or hopefully) our kids will listen to teachers more so than us

13.01.2022 It’s Friyay!! What sort of day are you going to have?
