Timing is everything, as it is RUOK? day. I prefer 'how can I help?' or 'what can I do to help?' (inspired by my friend, Bethany) as I've found that asking RUOK is often brushed off with "yep fine". Asking how you can help opens a whole different dialogue. ... At the end of the day, kindness is free and takes little effort. So often I see people 'punish' a family member (maybe inadvertently), when someone is on the edge, lashing out, not themselves - please remember to also be kind in these moments rather than take offence, place judgment, hold it against them. 18.01.2022 Beauties I recently made a decision to retreat a little from social media as I felt I was scrolling oh too much, but with so much going on in my world it kinda happened anyway. After a hellish week of challenges - including my poor mumma under the surgeons knife in Sydney - and a side of utter exhaustion, the thought of cancelling my weekend was on the cards. I am a little proud of myself though, I pushed on, got myself down the Clyde and settled into my accommodat...ion for the week. Whilst it meant the devastating decision to miss out on attending the Seven Sisters Sacred Leadership graduation ceremony with the delicious Suzy Cherub, I knew deep down, if I didn’t leave them, I wouldn’t get there. Plus the motivation to get to my happy place was a big incentive!! I’m glad I did. My weekend at the Eurobodalla Health & Psychic Expo was amazing. These beautiful words exceeded every expectation and obliterated any doubts my over-thinking mind had seeded. Absolutely ecstatic and joy-filled! ‘How awesome! I appreciated hearing how Chakradance is supporting you on your journey during the intro section of class. I thought you really made the script your own, you sounded very natural while... facilitating. Your room was set up so nice too! You had great timing and musicality when the music was shifting into the next Chakra. Your participants look like they were having a wonderful experience and gave some lovely feedback. The only feedback I would give is to allow your participants to get a little more settled before describing the Mandala portion of class. There seemed to be a bit of movement and talking and the energy wasn’t as centered. You did a great job getting everyone settled and ready, I would perhaps just start explaining after everyone is ready. I've never really considered myself an artist, let alone arty - as much as I love the idea - but I've found myself drawn (see what I did there?) towards the watercolour pencils and sketch pad. I have found myself a few times now, in the middle of meditation or online reading, crafting out faces of who I later find out to be someone's loved one in spirit or spirit guide. This lady's lovely face evolved from my fingertips over ...about 25 minutes this afternoon. I totally love her! A gentle energy, softly spoken, her positive, can-do attitude a testament to her tenacity and resilience. I get a sense of a fast-moving breast cancer and good-byes from the plane, all too soon.
