22.01.2022 So a couple days ago I had this weigh pretty heavy on my heart recently and felt as though I needed to share.. About 6 months ago wrote up the goals on the left. These were going to be my goals this year and I felt like they were very achievable and that i was going to hit them. These were my new years resolutions so why wouldnt I right? WRONG! Most of you probably know that anyone who writes down their resolutions tends to write them in book and forget about them which us...ually would have been me. But for me those goals this year were always in the back of my mind because I tailored them to the things I actually wanted to achieve. However as most of you may also know not long after writing these goals I found out I was pregnant and that sorta threw a spanner in the works for me. I was all over the place trying to achieve everything at once thinking I was on a time limit to maternity leave and because of that mindset I didnt achieve anything at all. 11 weeks and 3 days into the pregnancy was when my body realised the pregnancy was not viable and my miscarriage began which threw another spanner in the works and put me all over the place once again. At this point I wasnt really trying to achieve anything apart from moving forward. It took a couple months of grieving, a store transfer at work and a few other shifts in my life (like deciding to plan our wedding) to get back on track but here I am My head is clear and my heart is full of the blessings I do have in my life.
