25.01.2022 It's midnight here and I'm up with a killer sore throat - it's running rampant through our house at the moment. The little pitter patter of the twins feet woke me up and after I put them back to bed I was wide awake with my scratchy sore throat. After trying to ignore it for a few minutes, the ever elusive sleep was nowhere in sight so I got up and boiled the kettle. In a small cup I put a scoop of honey and 2 drops each of peppermint, lemon and on Guard then enough hot water... to dissolve the honey to a runny consistency. Then I sipped on the mixture. Instant relief! By the time I was half way through my throat was numb and feeling much better. It was a bit sickly by the time I got to the end but I sipped through it and was so surprised at the effectiveness of this lil combo. #doterra #themadapothecary #sorethroat #combo #honey #lemon #peppermint #onguard

17.01.2022 Ever make up roller blends and you lose the labels on them? I had a few randoms that for the life of me I couldn't remember what the blends were. Luckily there was only a dribble in the bottom! Don't throw your perfectly good rollers out - simply pour the remains out and boil your kettle. Holding your roller bottle with tongs just pour the hot water in the roller and tip it out. Do it 5 or 6 times and then fill the roller up and let it soak in hot water for about 5 minutes. Then simply pick them up with your tongs again and give it another rinse out with hot water 4 or 5 times. Let them cool on your bench and then give them a good dry with a paper towel. Quick and easy and recycling at its best.

03.01.2022 Throat is happily numb thanks to OnGuard throats drops but my nose is blocked and congested ... 10 drops Eucalyptus 5 drops Lemon 5 drops Peppermint... 5 drops Lavender Topped with water Easy and so simple yet so fantastic. A couple of squirts every 10 minutes and I'm feeling clearer already.
