08.01.2022 in an effort to get the best quality, local grass fed beef from maleny black angus, and to make it more affordable, i buy a whole beast at a time. i get all the meat trimmed and diced. that goes in all my steak pies and all the (untraditional) steak pasties. i get all the meaty bones. i roast them, simmer them for approx. 24hrs with uv treated rain water and few bay leaves. that is used to base my real beef gravies on. ... and i get all the marrow bones. i occasionally use them for real dog treats for our pair of four legged garbage disposals, aka chester and ness. but i currently have a glut of frozen roasted grass fed beef bone broth. more broth than i can poke a steak and caramelised onion pie with. and i currently have a glut of frozen grass fed beef marrow bones. more bones than i can poke a hungry labrador at. so i’ve got 3L frozen buckets roasted bone broth available for only $15. and i’ve got frozen quartered marrow bones for only $5 a bag of 4 pieces. message me if interested. and i’ve also got hundreds of pies, pasties and sausage rolls always available at the maleny pie guy hq. drop by 7 days a week if interested ps. check out maleny black angus grass fed beef. if interested... https://malenyblackangusbeef.com.au @malenyblackangusbeef
08.01.2022 this wadge of cash isn’t from my piggy bank. nor is it a cash bonus. and neither nor shady pie underworld hush money. this is just the tip of the t sauce by donation iceberg that is october's donations. as there’s plenty more eftpos donations you can’t see ‘cos they’re encrypted in cyberspace somewhere. every month, i rake all the cash together, count and deposit it into my bank, to transfer to their bank, along with the eftpos donations. their bank being the sunshine coast... animal refuge’s bank. here’s some stats... nearly 700 doses, ie donations, for homemade t sauce for the month of october. about 9l of t sauce i make at a time. exactly $7418.48 in donations to date. 0 cats or dogs euthanised at the sunshine coast animal refuge as they are a non euthanasia refuge. the reason i chose my sauce to support them. t sauce by donation. 7 days a week. at the maleny pie guy

06.01.2022 you might be thinking it’s currently the season of spring. maybe it’s still footy season. or can there be four seasons in one day? i don’t know. but i do know it’s currently, still and definitely can be chicken, fetta and asparagus pie season. ... as this season is short, but plentiful. and mighty tasty. imagine a season of only australian asparagus (no need for imported) with local free range chicken, mingling with kenilworth fetta. i’ve been tending to my chicken, asparagus and fetta pies for the last week or so and they’re currently in full bloom and ready for harvest. make the most of chicken, asparagus and fetta pie season every day of the week at the maleny pie guy hq. life is short. chicken, asparagus and fetta pie season is even shorter.

02.01.2022 nambour is home to the famous big pineapple. beerwah for australia zoo and the home of the crocodile hunter. i want maleny to be the famous home of the pink sausage roll! ‘cos my sausage rolls are pink. and i’m proud of ‘em! most sausage rolls are made with beef, seasoning plus whole lotta bread crumb. to me, they all taste the same. and when baked, the filling is a pale grey. my sausage rolls are made with beef, and pork, plus fresh sage and onion, with just enough bread cr...umb to hold it all together. and they taste different. beef + pork = better. when baked, my filling can appear pink due to the pork used, causing people to either say it’s the best sausage roll they’ve ever tasted or worried that it’s not cooked through. you bake a sausage roll in an oven for 20mins at 200 degrees, trust me, it’s cooked. and as fresh as. visit the home of the famous pink sausage roll, every day of the week, at the maleny pie guy hq
