22.01.2022 If getting your Licence is important to you, the L2P program is a 2 1/2 day program designed to assist you gain your Learner Driver Permit, and 100 driving hours towards your Provisional Licence. Who is Eligible for the L2P Program? Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders aged between 16 and 24 years. The next course is Tuesday 25th - Thursday 27th September. 21.01.2022 Help us help kids. Please help us make sure that all children in our community have everything they need to get back to school. The IJC Community Hub is collecting donations of school supplies including (but not limited to): backpacks, pencil cases, exercise books, colouring pencils, pens and pastels, erasers, scissors etc. Anything to help our kids be creative and enjoy learning. Packs will be made up and distributed to local families in need of support. ... If you have any unwanted items that can still be used or excess supplies for your own children, please help by donating them to The Hub, 86 Anderson Street (opposite Brothers).

07.01.2022 Hows this for fantastic community spirit. Zaneta, our Administration Officer is also the manager of the local Kowais Vigoro team. Last weekend, they all dressed up in pink to raise money for breast cancer through the McGrath Foundation. They had sooooo much fun seeing who could be the most outrageous and all for a good cause. Just for the records, Hayley (bottom right corner) won the best dressed and we think she was VERY happy!!
