19.01.2022 ? The desire to be accepted is a basic human instinct. When trying to fit in, we compare and form versions of ourselves to adapt to different surroundings and people. But in using all that energy adapting, we lose our authentic self. ... We love this quote by Dr John Demartini, "compare yourself not to others, but only to the vision you hold within your heart. Dedicate your life to a cause greater than yourself and watch you get beyond yourself. The very thing that someone told you that you would never be able to do may just be the very thing you are destined to do." Don't lose yourself by judging yourself against others. An oak tree doesn't compare itself to the small trees in the forest. It accepts what it is and grows strong and tall. Don't limit yourself by the desire to fit in. While it is normal to feel that way, question WHY you are drawn to comparisons and fitting in. It might come down to a lack of self-belief. #authenticity #themarketingrepubliq #mindset
16.01.2022 !! Our founder at The Marketing Republiq, Sonja Pototzki-Raymond wanted to share this Christmas message: It is the holiday season and even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, I hope this time for you is still filled with plenty of yummy food and precious time spent with family and friends. ... Christmas is very close to my heart. Whilst I can’t be with my whole family back home in Ireland, I’m grateful to be able to spend it with those closest to me here in Australia. These two spoilt fur babies Coco and Milo most definitely make up for not having my immediate family around me! Taking the chance to slow down and focus on what is important, like our most valued relationships, is the true spirit of the holiday season in my eyes. I don’t know about you but after focusing on what matter most, I’m always left more refreshed and with a fuller heart.
16.01.2022 ? Our founder Sonja Pototzki-Raymond reflected on the past year: 2020 has without a doubt challenged me and my business in ways I never thought possible, and at one point I thought I might never get through them. ... Plus, the daily challenge of wearing every hat as a business owner was something that no one can prepare you for. One of my goals for the new year is streamlining our processes to optimise our infrastructure to serve our clients at the highest level possible! I also want to ensure my staff are equipped to maximise their potential and efficiency. Despite being in the 2021 headspace, I know I'm incredible blessed with all we accomplished this year. I think it is so important to look back on the year that was and celebrate all your hard work. I most thankful for the following milestones achieved this year in my business: - Launching my personal brand Sonja The Search Queen. - Doubling the business in 2020. - Nominated for Start-up business of the year. - We moved into our new offices in Stirling and have been loving our new home ever since. - Most importantly, continuing to help more businesses increase their leads and sales so they can become more profitable. All of this would not have been possible without my incredibly talented team of twelve I have behind me. This quote by Steve Jobs springs to mind every time I think of what we as a team have achieved since 2018 great things in business are never done by one person, they’re done by a team of people. I am so excited for all the possibilities that we can achieved together in 2021! What are you most thankful for this year? #newyearseve #themarketingrepubliq #businessgoals
13.01.2022 ! If you're in business, you are already a success. Why?... Over 174,000 businesses were started in Australia last year. Did you know that after one year, only 134,869 businesses will remain? And that statistic only continues to drop. According to the Australian Small Business Key Statistics, in the next five years, it's estimated only 34,805 will remain. Out of all the business started last year only 20% will survive the next 5 years. How long have you been in business? Look how far you have come! So many companies don't make it past that first year because it is so difficult. And if you are making a profit and paying employees, you are doing even better. 68% of businesses have outstanding debt more significant than the revenue they are generating. We, as businesses owners need to think of ourselves as warriors. Give yourself credit for SURVIVING, because according to the statistics, so many businesses don't. Congratulations on how far you have come, use it as motivation to keep striving. #smallbusiness #growthmindset #motivation
08.01.2022 ... The most common concern with any new client of ours is the desire to get the most keywords possible on the first page of Google. You can get as many keywords on Page 1, but it doesn't necessarily mean your website is going to convert to an enquiry. ... If your website isn't set up for conversions or has any regard for user experience, then it doesn't matter the number of keywords you use. Focusing on keywords is old school SEO. Your potential customers are now entering long-tail searches into Google rather than just keywords. According to Google, there are more than 200 ranking factors that determine where you will rank on the search engine's results page. Don't just focus on keywords. If you're too busy digging for gold you'll miss the hidden gems along the way. As Albert Einstein said, "we cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them." Make sure your SEO campaign takes into account all the factors Google considers when ranking. These are: 1. Page speed 2. On-site user behaviour 3. Updating website regularly 4. Using alt tags 5. Linking within your site #themarketingrepubliq #smallbusiness #growthmindset
