24.01.2022 Wow. How awesome is this?... I was walking out of Coles today, and crossed the road to go to my car. An elderly gentleman was playing has Banjo, really well I might add, and it put a gentle smile on my face. As I had just finished crossing the road, the man who had then driven his car behind and passed me, said to himself, only loud enough that I could JUST hear it: "Beautiful!" ... I whirled my head, because the tone he had used was far from derogatory, but only caught a glimpse of the back of his long, country style, silver hair. Ordinarily, something like this could be taken as offensive, but today I don't have any makeup on, I am wearing relatively loose and unattractive gym clothes, and have finished sweating for like the past 5 hours from training on and off.... So today, I am going to take THAT as a compliment! Because he seems like the kind of man who sees the beauty in a person, even through all their imperfections. 18.01.2022 I love that the shirt I am wearing in this photo accidentally illustrates exactly the message that I would caption it with! #believe I have felt super down on myself lately about how I physically look, and how my body is/isn't progressing... ... I was quite pleased to see at least some definition in my legs when I checked out the quality of the photo (as one does before we can move on to the next photo ). I'm certainly no where near where I expected to be by this time this year. But life has happened! That's for sure. Wowser. So we'll just keep on keeping on, until we get there. I am trying not to let 'time' be such a huge factor in when I'll have things accomplished by. Rather, I want to just be able to DO these things in my life, because any achievement is just that, no matter when you reach that goal.
