23.01.2022 This was the 3rd party in the Star Wars Rave Trilogy. The first 2(Star Wars & Empire Strike Back) took place in '94 & '95 at the hardcore cafe. Return Of The Raver was an epic party staged by SRH Productions to complete the trilogy on Australia Day long weekend in 2015 at the Manning Bar. Visuals By Dougie in conjunction with GS L & S.

21.01.2022 The Sydney Rave History crew staged an 'Elysian' Rave on Sat 19th at the Manning Bar. It was divine & beautiful. The Meaning Of Lights revealed the only 360x180 degree laser in Australia!! An all-star DJ line up cranked a 90's decade of dance and legendary act Vision Four 5 performed live!... The music, vibe and PLUR gauge was on MAX the entire night :) A huge thanks to all the guys who supplied gear or offered (Graham, Martin, Vyper, Angus) and those that helped me with lighting/laser setup & control (Phil, Mark, Graham, Brenden, John, Chris). A big shout out to Dougie who out did himself with Visuals!! Thanks guys and SRH Productions!

16.01.2022 On the 3rd of July the Sydney DNB crowd packed out the Manning bar for "Hospitality - DNB", the Sydney leg of the southern hemisphere tour for London Elektricity, Etherwood, Maduk and Danny Byrd. The event was proudly presented by Flying Fortress, Breakneck Entertainment, United Colours of Drum & Bass and Foreigndub Sydney. Big shout out to Breakneck (Daniel Henderson) for lighting and Optic Soup (Tom Hethro) for visuals, The Meaning Of Lights provided the lasers for one hell of a night! Photo Credit: Photos by Boaz

14.01.2022 Jack The House 2, a brilliant night of old Skool house with live rap performances. Hosted by the legendary Mark Dynamix's and Paul Holden at the SlyFox in Enmore. The event was so hot the authorities got burnt!

13.01.2022 The Paul Holden Tribute on 5th May @ Home nightclub was an emotional evening. 30+ DJs played a eulogy of tunes to celebrate the life of and send off an Australian entertainment industry icon. The Meaning Of Lights was grateful to pay homage to a true legend and a friend. Thanks to the resident audio, video & lighting technicians Toby Royce & Rob Hardy, the DJs, Promoters, Home Nightclub and everyone who took part. I've done a few charity gigs with Paul and know last night would make him incredibly proud.

12.01.2022 Last night we powered up the DeLorean and went Jack To The Future! Crazy antics from Maynard and his Madd Club sideshow with Kate Monroe, LL eBay and Mark Dynamix playing Hip House, Chicago House, Acid House, Balearic and Classic Hip Hop. A few pics from the night.

12.01.2022 Jack The House is going from strength to strength as experienced by everyone who attended JTH4 last night. The SlyFox filled up early and by 10:30pm was at full capacity with a happy & energetic crowd. Phil Smart, Steve Gordon & Mark Dynamix's were on their game as were the live performers. A brilliant night was had by all!! ... I took a few pics at the end which is fortunate as none of the pro photographers brought their gear.

08.01.2022 New Years Eve 2015/2016. A truly unforgettable night held in a private warehouse located in Alexandria. 3 levels of absolute bliss. The Meaning Of Lights took charge delivering a sensory overload in "The Warehouse". It was a pleasure joining forces with The Angus, .darkroom events and George Last visuals.

04.01.2022 Last night at Kandii's Playground we celebrated a really old friends 40th Birthday. Great time was had by all... the music was cranking loud all night long with a nice blend of hardcore, funk & energy. Kudos to the Kandii Playground crew, with their in-house array of lighting, sound, djs, bar and awesome bar tender, the rumors are true this mystical place does exist, it's pretty special, if you ever get an invite check it out <3

02.01.2022 Last weekend .Darkroom at the Portuguese Club in Marrickville was hawt! Kudos to the promoter and DJs for such a great night!

01.01.2022 Wow, what a wonderful send off!! The Meaning Of Lights delivered a show not to be forgotten for JTH 5 (1yr anniversary) before moving to Melbourne. The event was so successful it felt like it sold out twice, once for > 30's before 2am and once again for a hipster crowd < 30 till 6am. All ages gel'd well and lots of whistle's, vibe and fun. Kudo's to the promoter for this niche market event - dance music '88-'92 and well done to all the DJs!! I'll miss you Sydney xo
