10.01.2022 Elaine and I plan on being there to support Sarah of BEAR Biologics as we've done for years now. Look forward to seeing you there. Have some awesome new technologies to share. At a recent GRDC meeting they put up some cost figures and the biggest single cost for the farmer was chemicals and fertiliser , plus they said that is why they have to breed new high yielding varieties for us the farmers so we become more profitable poor silly buggars , 73 years of my life 70 of w...hich I remember and they have been telling us they are going to make us more profitable. Really all they are doing is trying to justify the money they are taking off the farmer in so called levies to justify keeping their snouts in the trough while bleeding us dry Whilst talking about this with Sarah she reminded me of how Prof Don Huber has told us over and over again that we haven't yet achieved the full genetic potential of any variety created. Pretty sure she's going to have him along with these other awesome speakers have you refocus on how you can get the most out of ancient varieties, older varieties we can get our hands on, and those we have.
