Why do you think that image came into your head? ...What is it about the relationship between fathers and daughters that can lead her down two very different paths in life? The evidence in the psychological literature is clear... A poor relationship between father and daughter can lead to: - Increased risk of eating disorders and depression - Adult woman who are less secure and less satisfied in their relationships - Increased risk of teenage pregnancy So, now that I've got your attention.. The next thing I want you to think about is this: How do you currently feel about talking to your daughter about boys, sex or her period? If you're gut reaction is... 06.01.2022 I’ll be honest... . I’m scared/apprehensive about entering ‘the teenage years’. . For most kids, it’s where they’re going to do most of their ‘stupid stuff’.... . And also... the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.. . Partners/parties/school drama/ piercings...the list goes on. . For me, I just want to make sure I set up a relationship where if they feel like they’re in trouble they REACH OUT. . I would hate them to be in a situation where they had lied about where they were and then felt like they couldn’t get help if they needed it. . We’ll see how it goes. . What’s your strategy fellas? .
