Previous Camp feedback: Having joined the Australian Army at a young age and seen active service in Afghanistan, I am no stranger to challenging experiences. I went into the Cadre Camp on a Friday knowing I was in for a tough weekend, however I would never have thought that I was about to experience a weekend which would push me to the limits of both my physical and psychological endurance. From the opening minutes, it was clear that team work would be essential if we were to survive. We were constantly kept on the go and forced to deal with a variety of obstacles, both mental and physical. In the early hours of Sunday morning, I questioned my existence more than I ever have before. The overall feeling of accomplishment from completing the Cadre Camp is something that I will carry with me for a lifetime. Its realism (when compared to military style training) is incredible, and it is clear that an enormous effort is gone to on the part of the instructors. It is an experience I would recommend everybody undergoes at least once in their lifetime."
