21.01.2022 Who else is guilt of over-thinking? Over-thinking is destructive it raises your stress levels, blurs your judgement, drains your energy and it puts you in a negative space which can make it hard for decision making. Being aware of this habit is a good start to breaking it. Try to step back, be present and acknowledge the way you are responding to it.... Challenge your thoughts realise they are most likely being exaggerated negatively, try problem-solving in a positive way likewhat can I do about it? rather than why is this happening to me?. Practice mindfulness... don’t run through yesterday’s should of’s or tomorrow’s what if’s, be present. Try distracting your mind with exercise, conversation or a project or hobby. It will take practice to stop spending time in your head, the more you practice the easier it will get... starting with be aware. Remember there is always professional help if you feel it is affecting your daily life and you feel like you are spiralling into depression. Comment below some strategies you have or are using

14.01.2022 It’s easy to pretend to be strong, some of us do it for so long it ends up affecting most aspects of our lives... relationships, mental health, physical health, our goals, values and authenticity. You usually don’t look for ways to heal until you hit a new low or the build up of emotions explode. For some it’s too late, irrational decisions are made and they take their life. True healing occurs when you give yourself permission to feel whatever feelings live below the trigger...s. You are the most valuable investment you will ever make, don’t forget to put yourself first. Stop pretending and start healing Affirmation: I am not a person who is broken I am a person who is mending.

Be brave take a leap and start that side hustle, make that dream a reality or ask that person on a date... there is no perfect time and tomorrow is not guaranteed. What’s the worst that can happen the say no... you fail... these all build resilience and failing isn’t a thing unless you stop trying! We are all winging it, in this thing called life. Why not try winging it at something that will bring you joy, love and inner peace and see the way you look at the world change

They are usually right up there with the ones needing it the most. Set yourself a goal this week to make time for yourself, make that appointment for whatever it is you have been putting off, run that bath, meditate, read your book. Whatever it is, make it a priority at the end of the day you’re your longest commitment
