Its abou...t understanding the connection, relationship or role food plays in our lives is it for fuel, control, comfort, boredom, sadness, stress, routine or nourishment? It also includes paying attention to how food is grown, whether its sustainable or ethical? How we consume food, in plastic or eco-friendly packaging? The farming system used, conventional vs organic farming? The answers to these questions represent whether our choices are mindful and nourishing to ourselves and the environment. / Are your eating choices and habits nourishing your health and the environment around you? 15.01.2022 It has taken me a good year to grasp this simple concept. After finishing my degree, I was a bit confused in what direction I wanted to go down and I was overwhelmed where to start. It has only been the last few months that I have been able to discover my passion and vision. 07.01.2022 Self-care is a important practice in life as when you start focusing on nourishing yourself, youre able to extend more of yourself to others, whether it be friends, family, children, or your partner. It makes you feel whole, grounded, focused, and prepared for more. My newest self-care activity is allowing myself to sleep in when I have day off and I feel my body needs it. If you wake up early like me most days of the week due to work or just naturally, I try to give mysel...f one morning that I dont have to set an alarm and I can give myself that extra hour or two of sleep to feel refreshed and boosted for the week ahead!
