21.01.2022 You ask, I listen! Although these change tables keep selling out (I have just a few left my loves), I know a lot of you are missing the original wooden drawers with that beautiful grain. If I were to bring that back would it be a yay or nay? so undecided!

20.01.2022 A little bit out of the standard pic today, but this is Winnie who taught me what the meaning of a free spirit is. Not weighed down by ‘shouldn’t’s’ or opinions, she can twirl in the middle of a walk. She can call you bum bum and then beautiful in the same sentence. She can find beauty in fallen leaves but then kill an ant if she finds it interesting enough. Her love language is touch so she is forever touching, wanting to be held, and needing to sit ON you, never side by side. She looks you deep in the eyes and one can tell she feels everything. This little girl is pure magic - and I’m trying my damndest to teach her to stay exactly the way she is

20.01.2022 The happiest of Fathers Days to this guy, and to alllll the dads, step dads, dads to be, mothers doing two roles, and grandfathers out there. My dad was my absolute idol, teaching me the ways of the world with kindness and morals, and always the pillar of loving strength - and I am SO lucky to have found the same in a husband. The kids and I are so darn lucky to have you x

19.01.2022 This morning I saw a mother in the car in front holding up a childs book and was obviously reading it to her small child to keep them calm whilst stopped at the lights. What a simple yet powerful sight it was to witness this mother doing her best while absolutely ruling at life. I was petrified of red lights when my two were babies. They would wail and bawl, and we would just inch the car along as we came up to the traffic lights, to keep it moving in the hopes it would tur...n green. We would drive a screaming Winnie around from 3am until our tenant underneath us woke at 6am. Never before were we so grateful that McDonald’s had drive-through coffee. Little moments that we give up, that we choose to be the best we can be, and to do the best for them - all purely out of love. 19.01.2022 This morning at swimming lessons I was looking around, and all I could see was mothers doing their best for their children. Gazing down lovingly at them while they practised their kicking oh so well! Sneaking in little kisses just because. And all in the context of teaching them crucial life lessons because that’s what we do, right! We teach, we play, we love. And we do it because that’s who we are; we are mothers.

18.01.2022 Did anyone else feel like they lost themselves when they had babies? Feeling the weight of a tiny infant relying on you, at home for long periods of time when you are used to freedom, your physical body now not only yours but the life source of another I was extremely lost. Looking back on old videos last night I saw a woman who was so disconnected from herself. Feeling pressure from every angle with a baby and a toddler, so used to worrying about herself yet no time to worr...y about even that anymore, I saw myself not enjoying the small things and it was really quite sad. It can sound so conflicting when you hear that you need to take time out for yourself in order to be the best person you can be we all feel the weight of time. But the biggest thing I’ve learned is that you are still there, you ARE still you. You don’t need to go walking for an hour each day to create some you time. You don’t need to run a bath if you don’t have to. Just remember Who. You. Are. Can you do one thing for me? Look in the mirror and say ‘I am still *insert name*’ Then tomorrow text a friend who really makes you laugh. I don’t connect with that woman in the videos anymore. I see a shell, and now I am whole. Time can change a lot but we need to take the steps, and the little people watching you will be so grateful they have a mother standing in her power x
