22.01.2022 I was asked a few months ago to write some poems for Dads and Grandads instead of focusing on Mums and Nan's.... Having lost my own Dad 20 years ago today, it is something I really struggled with, not because I didn't want to, but because even after 20 years I still get upset that I have spent so much of my life without one. I was an absolute Daddy's girl and at 15 years old just before Christmas we lost a larger than life character from our family. Whilst grief sessions thi...s year have helped, I dont think it is ever something you can really get over and when times are tough it is easy to fall into the ideal that things would be better if they were still here. So here is my Dear Dad poem, written through the eyes of my daughter. 01.01.2022 Christmas cut offs for orders... Express post: Last date for deliveries (express only) is Sat 19th. Therefore all orders should be made by no later than 11pm Friday 18th. Any orders after this may not arrive until after Christmas.... Central Coast: I will be delivering myself across the Coast up until Wednesday 23rd Dec so last orders required by 12pm on the 23rd for evening delivery.
