24.01.2022 Doing our own renovation has been a great way to challenge myself to reuse/refill/recycle/rethink. Originally we were going to replace the kitchen but then we decided to see if we could make do with what we had. The bricks have a great texture and when white washed, flows back into our coastal design concept. We will keep the top and cupboards and refresh with dulux renovation paint. Even the plastic used to cover the stove was reused from the laminate floor packaging...new pics are the update post paint

22.01.2022 Finished up the toy cupboard project with Hessian fabric inside the door, total upcycle cost (paint and fabric) was $29 yay!

Some canvas or hession to screen the contents and its done. 05.01.2022 Time to get crafty with my beautiful wood log stools to be. Adore the styling but can't afford the price tag ($399!) So it's tools out, sandpaper ready. These were provided by some great tree loopers who kindly cut me lengths instead of wood chipping :-)

04.01.2022 Repurposed chalk vases alongside local made pottery @winterwares for this week's stunning fresh blooms. Love the inspiration of how to upcycle using DIY chalk by Geraldine Vanderzeil, I have put the link below. So far have only used actual chalk paint - My tip is look for vases with glazed interiors and dont chalk paint the inside when you want to use fresh flowers that need water.
