Welcome and thanks for visiting my pet sitting page! :) After relocating to Melbourne 2 and a half years ago from the Central Coast of NSW, I have finally decided that it’s time to relaunch my pet sitting business again and meet some more of your pets! :) . But first - Here a little bit of an introduction about me: . My name is Lisa and I am a dedicated, fully qualified, registered veterinary nurse with over 16 years experience working in small animal veterinary cl...inics and emergency hospitals in and around, Sydney, the Central Coast and more recently Melbourne! . I am extremely passionate about all animals great and small and have been involved in a wide range of animal care & management since first working in the veterinary industry in 2007 and becoming a fully qualified veterinary nurse in 2009. . Alongside my veterinary nursing career, I completed a Certificate III in Captive Animal management at Taronga Zoo in Sydney where I worked as a zookeeper working with marine mammals, primates, ungulates, big cats and the veterinary team and the Taronga Wildlife hospital. . My special interest in marine mammals led me to Florida in 2015, where I spent 4 weeks at the Dolphin Research Centre and 2 weeks in Mexico, learning all about marine mammal behaviour, training and enrichment. . After completing my Certificate III in Captive Animal Management, I then decided to follow my passion for animal training and enrichment and went on to complete my Certificate III in Dog Training & Behaviour through the National Dog Trainers Federation in the hope to help strengthen the bond between owners and their pets. Alongside my pet sitting services in Sydney, I frequently provided in home training advice and ran twice weekly puppy training classes at a number of veterinary clinics in and around Sydney and the Central Coast. . In my spare time I loves getting away to the coast or countryside where I love to go camping, hiking and exploring nature. At home I have a naughty ginger and white cat called Yoda (see profile pic) who I adopted from the RSPCA in 2008 . I look forward to you all sharing my journey with me and thanks again for following!
